This painting was completed for the Watercolor Workshop “Art Stuff” project. I used a still life set-up at home which included my little plein aire kit and a painting from my sketchbook from last summer, in Destin FL to paint this.

This painting was completed for the Watercolor Workshop “Analagous Blue Landscape” project. I used a photo from our skiing vacation at Beech Mountain, NC, which is a great family place to ski.
Here is another from the same vacation, of the six-year old ski class with their instructor in the fog.
I attended an 8 week Acrylics Course with Laurel Schooner in early 2005. It was my first attempt at acrylics. Each week we painted a still-life set-up from life, with great guidance and advice from our teacher. These are some of the paintings I created during the course.
